How can you expect someone to show up for you if you don’t show up for yourself? Ways I show up even on the toughest of days:
🏃♀️ Move my body – 20 minute walk, workout class or both
💧 hydrate – 2L a day. You’ll feel better and fuller.
🥗 greens & protein – I might be craving sweets, but fueling my body with lots of greens and protein at every meal is how you build muscle/lose fat
🧘♀️ always meditate. journal. ground myself, my mind. discernment.
☀️ gratitude. Write down three things I’m grateful for in the morning and again at night (could be as simple as “I love this maple glaze @chobani coffee creamer)
👨👩👧👦 remind myself how lucky I am to have such wonderful friends and family who support me, and think of ways I can make them feel appreciated. A simple text or call can brighten someone’s day which then can influence how they interact with other people 🥰
📕 spend time learning something new everyday. whether that’s reading a book, learning a language, going deeper into certain intricacies I need to know for my job, spend 15 minutes a day to challenge your mind.
