This hand painted plate was originally made as part of an exhibition for Queen Victoria’s Jubilee in 1887.
Painted by Helen’s great, grandfather it has been cherished by the family for many generations, even in its damaged condition.
What pleasure it gave me to be able to restore this piece for Helen and in time to celebrate this year’s Jubilee.
