Lanisha Cole Instagram – Back in March at a Size 6.. people in my comments congratulating me on being “pregnant again” because I had some extra weight on me lol. I became insecure in my body and started to cover up more which wasn’t me at all. Having people publicly scrutinize and critique my body wasn’t easy in the least bit. Fast forward to now (back down to a size 2- my normal size) and people asking my “real” weight loss secret thinking I’ve hopped on the pill train is comical. I will say this a million times- intermittent fasting juicing has been my secret weapon. Lately I’ve gotten back to incorporating physical activity which consists of taking daily walks around the neighborhood. It’s not intense but it works for me 💪🏾🙏🏾 . What’s been keeping me strong is my daughter and having Bee by my side who always told me how beautiful I am- regardless of my weight or my own insecurities at the time. I’m forever thankful to have my loving little family unit. . Here I am to tell all of you new Moms to please be patient with yourself 🙏🏾💕 It’s a journey that will take you through so many different stages. Focus on taking care of your mental health and protecting your peace during this time. Love on your family and let people talk in the meantime!
