I don’t know where the time has gone because this feels like yesterday. The very first preview of @matildabroadway was 10 years ago today. This was also my Broadway debut, and I’m so glad I recorded what looks like complete turmoil happening in my head literally just before places lol. It took me a really really long time and an absolutely nuts backwards path that finally got me there but I am posting this in case any of you are feeling like your dreams are just out of reach or might not happen- keep going. When it happens doesn’t matter. So stay on your path…and avoid path poopers. #iykyk 😜 Love to my Maggot family always. I look nice, you don’t.

Listen. As actors we do workshops. But when you get to do a completely original musical with only 3 people and a host of puppets… I mean. Best week with these fellow nutsos @mcclurerob and @alsilbs from the minds of the effing genius @darkotresnjak and @oraneldor – I was just the happiest puppet human ever.
10 years ago today I moved to NYC- a place I neeeever thought I wanted to live lol, but a little show called Matilda made my Bway dreams real, and so I would have to brave the subway. I was sure I would be fired, so I only sublet for 6 mos from a girl I had met just once- a now forevs pal @heleneyorke . Well, I didn’t get fired, and my original plan of one year in NY turned into 8. (props to @darthstafford for holding down the LA fort😝) I fell in love with nyc, but mostly the family of weirdos I made in the Bway community. Sofa king grateful to be able to call both LA and NYC home. Also grateful I didn’t get fired. But you get it. Happy NYCversary! -except to the rats. Not to them. 🐀
