I was 18 when we made the pilot for Peyton Place. He was several years older than me, happily married to a gorgeous actress Joanna Moore and they had a new baby (Tatum). He was handsome and confident and very, very funny! Sometimes he made me laugh so uncontrollably that we had to stop shooting. He was my first, very secret crush. I was so shy i could barely look at him. After i left the show we remained friends altho we lived in different countries & saw each other rarely. In the 70s he was Godfather to one of my kids- the baptism was in an old stone church in English countryside where i lived with my husband Andre. Ryan’s life became more complex, so I guess it was understandable that the Godfather part got forgotten. He still lived in California. In the 80s i moved to NY. We eventually re established contact by phone. I hope he will rest in peace. My thoughts are with his children. Tatum will always be my friend.
I bet he has those angel choirs singing some great new songs ! This was the first photo i took with the Rolleiflex camera he bought for us. He was teaching me how to use it. This little dog was a gift to Frank and me from Elizabeth Taylor. We named her Eliza and we both adored her. After our divorce it felt right for him to have custody of her ( he loved her so- and i was moving to England) but he regularly kept me updated – as you can see from this photo he sent me . ( i called him Charlie because he could make an adorable face like Charlie Brown )

Frank loved dogs. He had a wonderful golden lab named Ringo when i met him. But it was a later addition to the household- our puppy Eliza who came to his recording sessions- and watched ball games beside him. They were inseparable

My daughter Quincy and her beautiful family – Ethan, Coretta, baby Sawyer, and Arlo the pup. Quincy & Ethan are successful in their respective professions- both are loving and wise and generous, fun and kind. The children are magic! I must be the luckiest person on Earth.
