This is particularly beneficial for scenarios where you don’t have the recipient’s complete bank account details.
To make an IMPS transfer using this new method, follow these simple steps:
Open your UPI app (such as Paytm, PhonePe, or BHIM).
Select the “IMPS” option.
Enter the recipient’s phone number and name.
Enter the amount you want to transfer.
Review the transaction details and confirm the transfer.
That’s it! The funds will be transferred to the recipient’s account almost instantly.
