Well… maybe it’s the jet lag… but today was a very emotional day. Like so many people I have lost someone I loved a great deal to cancer. So the herculean work of @mariekeatingfoundation who support people who live with and beyond cancer is a charity close to my heart … and the hero of that charity has always been @lkeatingmkf – who as a daughter, dealing with loss, took on the challenge on behalf of her beautiful family to do something meaningful and lasting as part of her mum’s legacy – and so many people have joined her on that journey, and the foundation has gone from strength to strength but the lynchpin, the spark, the tornado that drove so many of us to help and support @mariekeatingfoundation is Linda – today is her last official event at the helm of the phenomenal fundraising programme – she’s not only an amazing person, kind, empathetic and passionate – she has represented the Keating family and honoured their incredible mother in ways few of us daughters will ever be able to do… these are the before pics…. Cause there was a lot less mascara in the after pics… she’s inspirational and too humble to take a bow… so we all stood for a long time to recognise all she has achieved over those years and I’m proud to know her and play a tiny infinitesimal part in helping her #lindakeating #mywomanoftheyeareveryyear ❤️

Homeward bound… always my favourite part of any great adventure – hurtling towards Dublin and all the people I love in this world #theresnoplacelikehome 💚 Orlando International Airport
My last sunrise at #portcanaveral and it’s a spectacular one from this side of the Atlantic Ocean… yesterday I listened to a seasoned #nasaastronaut who’s been way up there on multiple space trips – he reminded me that the International Space Station orbits Earth about every 90 minutes—enough for astronauts to witness 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets each day… wow – that must be something. I’m happier down here on earth witnessing my daily ritual of our own sun rising but a day with my head in the vast universe of our galaxy and the gazillions beyond at the #kennedyspacecenter made me think a lot about life and our tiny little corner in the #milkywaygalaxy … but I didn’t feel small, I felt privileged to wake up each morning and witness our sun rise on a brand new day… full of all the possibilities that life brings. And this morning it was like an extra special gift with big brushstrokes of crimson, pinks yellows and blues 💚 Kennedy Space Center

Kayaking at #indiancreek … two hours in the midday sun was a bit of a a challenge for the #type1diabetes ….
a little #hypoglycemia when we stopped to view the pelicans – might have been a stretch but so much fun and a great upper arm workout… so glad I did it #mangroveswamp #birdisland …. Such a big beautiful planet and the only was to experience it is to be there #christmasseemssofaraway @visitnewsmyrnabeach #illdefinitelybeback #imightneverleave 😘 Intercoastal Waterways

Paddling my own canoe 😀… everything is more beautiful out there on the water, up close to the pelicans on bird island, seeing the mangroves way up close and powering on your own steam…. a great adventure on #indiancreek and the #intercoastalwaterway #marineconservation @visitnewsmyrnabeach Intercoastal Waterways
