Rachel Miner Instagram – I wish to send out another thank you to and recommendation of @davidholmes83 #theboywholived . There are messages within this piece that resonate so strongly with me I simply want to amplify them. What life asks me to relearn every day, what I hope to pass along, and what this film shows in abundance is that happiness is not contingent upon a given set of parameters or a specific form. That we may find the deepest joy and sense of completeness not because we hit the markers set for us by our conditioning but because we have managed to move beyond to identify and align ourselves with those things which are of value to the truest part of us. At the same time this is often not an easy path when one wishes to bring joy to those around them, because there is an incredible weight and guilt that comes with feeling the worry and sadness and stress that your very existence seems to bring others, there is a deep desire to be able to jump up and dance around and tell others there’s nothing they need worry about, and to hide the truth of one’s experiences. This film captured that for me too, and gave me some relief from that weight, or at least left me feeling less alone in it. I want to share that too. I want others to feel that too. So again thank you @davidholmes83 and I highly recommend this film!
