Ruth Negga Instagram – I was delighted to be involved in Irish Repertory Theatre and Fishamble: the New Play Company’s Transatlantic Commissions Program, a new endeavor that aims to address head-on the historical inequalities in representation that have existed in the Irish theatrical canon. Together, Fishamble and Irish Rep commissioned Kwaku Fortune, Jade Jordan, Felispeaks, and CN Smith to work under the mentorship of Obie Award-winning playwright and Pulitzer Prize finalist Dael Orlandersmith to create new works that were presented as public readings in Dublin, New York, San Fransisco and at the Los Angeles Public Library in March 2023. | Posted on 07/Apr/2023 01:14:18
