Tara Buck Instagram – A year ago today I was in Tam Dao, Vietnam at the @animalsasia sanctuary learning about the senseless cruelty of the bear bile industry. Thanks to 25 years of steadfast commitment and determination, Animals Asia has helped bring a permanent end to this heinous trade in Vietnam. This year a second bear sanctuary will be up and running in Bach Ma with the mission of caring for all remaining bears that are currently being surrendered and rescued from bile farms. There will not be a single bear left behind to suffer. I don’t quite have the words to express just how momentous this achievement is but I will never forget the impact these bears have had on me and how truly moved I am that there are people like Jill Robinson in the world.
