This was the night Longshadow was staked by Bill @stephenmoyer and Ginger got glamoured into oblivion rather than turned by Eric. AND Pam @kristinbauer just stood there and let it happen because she didn’t want to get blood on her freshly pressed khakis. A year ago today I was in Tam Dao, Vietnam at the @animalsasia sanctuary learning about the senseless cruelty of the bear bile industry. Thanks to 25 years of steadfast commitment and determination, Animals Asia has helped bring a permanent end to this heinous trade in Vietnam. This year a second bear sanctuary will be up and running in Bach Ma with the mission of caring for all remaining bears that are currently being surrendered and rescued from bile farms. There will not be a single bear left behind to suffer. I don’t quite have the words to express just how momentous this achievement is but I will never forget the impact these bears have had on me and how truly moved I am that there are people like Jill Robinson in the world. There is a lot of pressure, fatigue and anxiety floating around as we enter what will hopefully be our final lap of this race. As a collective we have an opportunity to safeguard our futures as well as the careers of future generations of artists. A vastly underrated performance; her unnatural movements and possessed-looking expression glues you to every frame she’s in. Throughout Hunter’s career, she’s gravitated toward male roles in classical plays because they were more complex and fully developed parts. Wow. We did it. Geat news! I’m so proud of our negotiating committee, our union leadership and all of my fellow @sagaftra members and picketers. As much as being on strike sucked it also reminded me of the incredible will of artists. It’s been a great reset for me in a lot of ways and I fell in love with my fellow creators all over again. Over the last 118 days I’ve been reminded of how fortunate we all are to be a part this very special, passionate, joyful group of visionaries. In solidarity! #sagaftrastrong
