Right now is such an incredible opportunity to heal generations of trauma and build a ‘new normal’ that’s anything but normal. And how we get there is up to YOU.
What’s being asked of you is to care. Care more about Learning how to be anti-racist then you care about being ‘perceived as racist’. Yeah your gonna make mistakes and yeah people are gonna call you out on it, be grateful, that’s how we LEARN.
I’m BLACK and I am STILL unpacking and understanding the depths of my own internalised systematic racism, trust me, YOU GOT WORK TO DO.
To my black friends/followers – Never let this important work divide us into US vs THEM. Divided we all perish.
