🤼♂️ Trying and failing to get the right crowd in 🫨
You can watch me read the room tonight on Last Laughs – a beautiful taping of the final gig of @nzcomedyfestival 2023 – at 8:30PM on @threenewzealand . For reasons that are unknown to me this joke did not make the broadcast
If this photo gets 10,000 likes I will upload a sex tape I made with this car (just over the pants stuff but surprisingly hardcore)
I do not recognise the young boys in this photo.
Ten years ago I set out to become friends with Tim Batt through the somewhat unconventional method, of watching and reviewing Grown Ups 2 together.
Within one year we had spent 87.5 hours (over three and a half days) not just with each other but also the ensemble cast of Grown Ups 2. A friendship forged in the fires of mutual self flagellation and insanity was born.
In the time that has passed we have grown so close, and spent so much time in each other’s company that the idea we once didn’t know each other feels impossibly abstract.
Mission friendship can be considered a success… but at what cost?
To mark ten years of friendship, of the Worst Idea of All Time and our looming freedom from the shackles of watching movies together over and over again – we are going back to where it all started. A large scale, celebratory live podcast reflecting on what I have come to regard as one of cinemas great treats, the 2013 triumph that is Grown Ups 2.
Please join us at 7:30PM on Saturday February 10 at @qtheatre as we say goodbye to an era and acknowledge that these two young boys… have finally Grown Up (2)
One of the best nights of my life!
So pumped up to win the Fred award and made so much more special by doing it alongside @abbyhowellsplease who won the Billy T
Thank you to everyone who came to my show over the last four months. Comedy actually rocks
And then they wouldn’t let me back into the cafe to wash my hands
I cannot believe it but due to the organisational skills and purchasing habits of some of my nerdiest fans, extra shows have been added in some of Australia’s finest cities!
I’m talking about cities like Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane! Everywhere else remains on sale – geez I hope the show is funny
I’m so much more than a stand up comedian… I’m also looking good in this photo
The tour is done! Thank you so much to everyone who came to see the show. I did it 48 times in 12 different cities and I didn’t bomb once. I am going to have a holiday now
1) Listening to the Steve Miller Band at the Bethel Woods Centre for the Arts (home of Woodstock 99). We only realised we were facing the wrong way after their encore
2) On a tube on the Delaware River. After this photo some of the local teens pushed me in and held my head under the water, it was hilarious!
3) I have no idea who these people are
4) I was four months early for the New York marathon but that didn’t stop me running it and passing out from dehydration after 10 miles
5) Tried playing the game from the tv show Wimbledon
6) Performing Chris Rock’s Bigger & Blacker in its entirety at a local show
7) Our local tour guides Emily and Tom, they taught us how to dredge the Hudson River for bodies
8) We did all the food prep for the Queens Night Market, it took ten days and everyone who ate the jerk chicken or the shellfish got very sick
9) Meeting a fan
10) We joined the AMC staff in the pride parade so we could cross 5th Avenue

Beautiful updates to the tour poster by @anns_taylor_design
Have added an extra show in Christchurch and unless you live in Palmerston North I recommend pre-booking your ticket! If you live in Palmerston North I’m not sure what I’ve done to you but know that I am sorry Aotearoa
I hope my spelling attempt of this made-up word conveys the contempt I have for @guy_mont and that nonsense jumble of letters #comedy
