Inspiration came from the classic emblem of Scotland, the thistle, a prickly yet beautiful flower that blooms bright purple from the cold greens and greys of the British countryside. The little dashes of gold were thrown in to set off the muted greens and bright purples. On the back we have the motto of The Order of the Thistle (yes it’s a thing), which translates to “Nobody attacks me with impunity”, referring to our prickly nature. Let’s hope that rings true this season 😉 I’m glad to see it’s already been given the thumbs up by a few of you (swipe to the end)!
