Leonardo DiCaprio Instagram – The Lear’s Macaw—a brilliant blue parrot—was once on the brink of extinction, but conservation efforts have helped the species recover. That recovery is fragile and a new wind energy project in the Canduous cliffs, the bird’s only habitat, in Brazil’s Bahia state is threatening the species’ future.
