I believe “Do they like me?” is not the right question to be asking ourselves . . . it can even be a dangerous source of comfort that blinds us to someone’s lack of intention. That’s because someone liking us does not immediately translate into a real investment or a desire to progress the relationship to the next stage. Real progress must be measured in a different way. If you’re looking to get clarity on whether a situation is worth pursuing, or want real commitment from someone, I would like to invite you to join my free event on Tuesday, January 23, called, “The First Principles of Getting Commitment.” You can claim your spot at LoveLifeTraining.com ❤️

Matthew Hussey Instagram – Making sure we have all of these before getting deeply emotionally invested with someone is so important.

When we like someone it’s common to only focus on one of these things, and to make that the reason we should be with someone, i.e. “we have a unique connection” or “I am so attracted to this person”.

But this reasoning becomes excuse for allowing someone to treat us poorly or not give us what we really want because we are too afraid of losing them. It’s imperative we zoom out and make sure the foundations of a relationship are really there, to ensure we aren’t lost in infatuation, and that we’re not simply in love with the idea of the relationship.

Getting real investment, and ultimately, real commitment from someone can feel so elusive when dating, but it is possible. I have an event coming up on Tuesday, January 23rd which is all about commitment and how to get it. 10k+ have already signed up. You can join them and secure your place on the event for FREE by heading over to LoveLifeTraining.com.
