The Portuguese activist are the engine of change, I’m just a spark plug. The local campaign to improve the living conditions for the 35 captive dolphins is finally getting a lot of attention, thanks to a great many local activists who have been campaigning for years, especially animal rights activist, Fernando Roneberg and @EmptyTheTanksPortugal —
The awareness event was organized by Dr. Laurentina Pedrosa, a highly respected, independent veterinarian who is appointed by the Minister of Environment to study animal related issues and make recommendations directly to the Ministry. This body of work has been accomplished. The Portuguese media coverage during our Awareness Campaign was massive, and extremely helpful. (Thank you national media for telling it like it is.) The truth about preforming circus dolphins in Portugal is finally being talked about. We reached the entire country in less than a week thanks to Dr. Pedrosa’s successful event. New ideas and recommendations have been submitted and now we wait for results. I believe change for the common good is coming to Portugal 🇵🇹 There is more work to do, and the Portuguese people are ready, able and willing. Viva Portugal!
