A spiritual practice I intuitively began years ago, the act of washing my feet before bed. Taking a few moments before getting into bed, I wash my feet with water, and immediately feel gratitude for the clean running water in my home, and my strong little feet that have carried me through yet another day on planet Earth. The thought of getting into bed with dirty feet horrifies me! My bed is a place of peace and comfort, and keeping it clean is of utmost importance if I am to have pleasant dreams. Thank you, feet, for all that you do for me, for all the ways you carry me, and for all the ways that you serve. 👣

Some of the most important work I’ve done thus far was being apart of fundraising teams with my pals, benefitting the international non-profit organization, @buildon . I believe everyone – especially young girls – have the unalienable right to an education. The ability to read and write is paramount to a person, a city, a nation’s growth and prosperity. Did you know the U.S. illiteracy rate among adults is 21%? That’s roughly 63 million adults in America who don’t know how to read and/or write. 63 million Americans who can’t experience the magic and transformative power of a book, or who cannot free their souls because they don’t know how to write. 54% of #americans have a literacy rate below sixth-grade level. I dream of a world where not only everyone knows how to read and write, but they have the courage to write better stories for themselves than their ancestors. I pray people learn that we really are the masters of our fate, the captains of our souls, and that we are worth it. I dream of a world where kindness is power, and knowledge is a virtue. I pray people get creative and really start LIVING not just watching, judging, and attacking each other from behind these tiny screens. I pray we remember the reason we came to be. I pray we wake up before it’s too late.
