The healing power of music, dance and deep friendship. Ember was sad her friend Evy left the desert yesterday and I said, I’m sad too, my friend is also leaving. Took a little walk and @youcanfindjules uttered these perfect @thekillers lyrics and they were just the right words to sum up our feelings and express our desires for the year ahead. It’s been a rocky 2023. I’ve had some health issues and personal struggles. This woman has been a steadfast presence through it all. Jules, I’m so grateful for you and how through our girls, we are reminded to stay present and play. We’re reminded how important it is to model calm and freely express our joy. This trip has left me feeling nourished, replenished and I truly look forward to parading around without game plan, obligation or alarm.
