🧁🩸Eating your foods in a certain order helps to stabilize your blood sugar levels!

🥗🌱🫘🫛Start with FIBER!
Fiber is in ALL plants. It’s the thing that gives them structure. Fiber is our friend, folks! It creates a filter (a fiber mesh) in our intestines that slows down the way the sugar hits our blood stream making it far less likely to be stored as fat. So eat ALL the vegetables on your plate before anything else.

🍗🥑🐟Then follow with protein healthy fats.

🥔🍝🥖 Next, eat the starchy carbs like rice, potatoes, breads & pasta

🍓🫐 Finally followed by fruits. Fruits contain fiber too, but they also contain fructose, which can spike glucose levels. So in order to keep your levels steady, more your fruit consumption to AFTER your meal.

🍰🥧🍪 And lastly, sugary desserts. Yes, I eat desserts! Just not on an empty stomach.
