Debra Messing Instagram – Hen Mazzig, the incredible Israeli activist, speaker and author and I were invited to speak to college students from around the country who are combatting unimaginable anti-Semitism. These young men and women are on the front lines of their campuses, bravely leading the way for their community, standing strong in their right to have freedom of movement and access to their classes in the face of bigoted threats and mob intimidation.

They wanted to know about what I witnessed and experienced in Israel. I was able to share the stories of the many survivors, and families of hostages I had the privilege of meeting.

These students just want to learn. They just want a normal college experience where intellectual curiosity and meeting people from all over the world and recognizing what is shared, and learning from one another, is all they need to worry about. That is not their reality; so they are stepping up.

Stay strong. You are the light. Keep spreading it.
