I honestly think that I was cracked open by everything I saw, and heard, and just came back to the US super vulnerable. I decided to do something I haven’t had the time for in far to long. I disappeared into a book. LIONESS by Emily Perkins @slinkyempire When I arrived home, this book was waiting. I had forgotten I had ordered it. And because the Lion is such a meaningful symbol for Israel, it felt like a sign. What a beautiful book. A traditional middle aged woman reassesses her life after meeting a woman unlike any she had met before. I have dog eared all the pages with lines that took my breath away, and there are many. Her description of the family members are so detailed. I really lost myself in this book. Which was a blessing.
