Geraldine Hakewill Instagram – Last night, my friend Craig Barden won a Gold Award at the ACS Victoria/Tasmania awards for his work as cinematographer on our film, The Rooster.
Craig shot the second season of Ms Fisher and quickly became one of my favourite people on set, always making space for me and the other actors, always striving for beauty even with our bonkers schedule, and always maintaining calm.
He came onto The Rooster with endless enthusiasm and artistic integrity, and he helped us crew it in one of the busiest seasons Victoria had ever had with the most wonderful crew, who wanted to work with him because he is a great leader. They made every frame a work of art and I can’t wait for the world to see it soon.
You deserve every award going Craig. Thank you x
