I Spent a few wonderful days on the wa’a and then spent 10 days in hotel isolation on salt spring island with covid. I ultimately ended up coming home early at the end of my isolation period. 🫣🫠
It certainly wasn’t the journey I was expecting or hoping for but it was certainly still a voyage on its own right. And it gave me a lot of time to myself to reflect and sit in quiet — which parents know isn’t really a luxury we can usually afford.
