JoJo Instagram – Another year of walking this Erf!!!!!! Man I used to look at adults with their jobs and outfits and preferences and think … they know exactly what they’re doing. There must be a “right” timeline to do it in. Surely by Tommy 30’s I’ll have it allllll figured out! 😂 What I know now is get to decide who we want to be every day and that shit is subject to change. Thinking back to my last birthday I couldn’t have predicted what the next 365 days would have for me. I moved across country and back again, starred in my first Broadway musical, played festivals in America, Brazil and Australia and New Zealand, started making brand new music, traveled to Iceland by myself, had hard but necessary convos with myself and those closest to me, was on a dating app for a few months and actually WENT on dates, and started writing a book about my life. I was presented opportunity after opportunity to put my growth and values to the test. It wasn’t always without discomfort but it was fucking worth it. I’ll never forget this year for so many reasons. Thank you to each and every person I’ve had the chance to interact with who has left an impression on my heart. I feel so loved and supported.
