If you’re trying to get more plant-based protein into your daily diet, try making this!
It’s hummus made from lentils instead of garbanzo beans.
Turns out lentils are a higher protein source than chickpeas
Lentils: 18g protein per cup
Chickpeas: 14g protein per cup
This recipe is super quick and easy and the consistency is absolutely perfect.

LENTIL HUMMUS RECIPE:
4 cups lentils
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup tahini
1 tsp salt (add more to taste)
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (optional; I used it, but you don’t have to if you don’t like the taste)
