Starting my Autumn baking a little bit early. We had a packet of puff pastry about to go out of date in the fridge and a neighbour was giving away a load of their homegrown cooking apples so it had to be made.
I added a frangipani inside and sprinkled our homemade cinnamon sugar on top before serving.
It tastes nice but I don’t think I’m a sweet puff pastry gal. I’d rather have a savoury puff bake I think 🤔
