CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS I’m afraid there are no ingredient measurements here because it was a trial that happened to be a success 😂 I did however use two bars of @lindtuk dark chocolate that I melted for the underneath and top. I used about 3 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter from @wholeearthfoods . A sprinkling of freeze dried raspberries from @lakelanduk . The silicone tray is very old so I’m not sure where I bought it from I’m afraid. • Next time, I think I would soften my peanut butter with a small amount of maple syrup, simply so that it would spread more easily. • They were simply delicious though 👌🏼 . 🎃 HALLOWEEN SLAB 👻 I made this Halloween inspired chocolate slab/bark. I melted two bars of dark chocolate and added in some smashed up hazelnuts to add some healthiness and good texture. I then spread it out (thickly) over a baking sheet/paper and left it to partially set. Albie and I then decorated with Halloween inspired goodies. APPLE GALETTE Starting my Autumn baking a little bit early. We had a packet of puff pastry about to go out of date in the fridge and a neighbour was giving away a load of their homegrown cooking apples so it had to be made. I added a frangipani inside and sprinkled our homemade cinnamon sugar on top before serving. It tastes nice but I don’t think I’m a sweet puff pastry gal. #Ad Eighteen years ago Liam and I went on our first date to @askitalian . Liam ordered all of the starters and all of the specials. He then ate all of them 😆. Mirror selfies with Oscar 🥰 I feel like the house is starting to come together. The bare bones were sorted before moving in and now I’d like to say we are in the finessing stage but it’s actually the lived in stage where we’ve worked out what the next steps are. The next steps were most importantly…STORAGE!! As seen on my stories, that meant built in cabinets in the recessed areas either side of the fireplace. Next stage is ordering the floor to ceiling double larder cupboards (three of them) for the dining room. 🍞 BAKERY HUNTING 🧁 Actually managed to get out of the house before midday today…just ⏰ We walked to the bakery fifteen minutes before closing and snapped up the last of their vegan rolls, croissants and a loaf of bread…also one of their mince pies which I recon are the best 👌🏼 @thamesdittonbakery It was also operation try out the new buggy board ahead of the nursery run tomorrow. Luckily it was a complete hit 🎉. Using it with the bassinet isn’t the best design though and I have to walk to the side a little bit when Albie is sat on it, but the walk is short and will be a bit safer and easier for me than him using his scooter alongside the buggy. • WHAT A DAY • Wow wow wow…I texted mum this afternoon saying, “I think it’s time we all just went to bed to be honest” 😆 Dentist appointment was actually ok in the end. Not fun. Lots of drilling. Lots of injections and a bit of metal shoved up in my gum 😭 but all in all nothing a bit of paracetamol couldn’t “cure”. Mum rang to say Albie had opened the car door whilst she was driving YEP!!! He opened the CAR DOOR!!!! WTAF 😳. We don’t understand how but it slammed back shut and luckily mum was driving insanely slow so all was ok but we thought he had broken the door. Luckily Liam fixed it. Albie then came home after a smidge of a nap (definitely not ready to stop his lunch nap!) in an absolute state. Mum and I think he’s actually a bit she’ll shocked by his car situ as he said sorry to mum so often 🥰 He then tripped up a step and smashed a ceramic light up pumpkin 🎃 that mum bought him and the tears that came out of his eyes were cartoon-like 😭 Thennnn he requested baking and fell off the stool. My gawd. It’s been stressful.
