Megan Taylor Instagram - CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS I’m afraid there are no ingredient measurements here because it was a trial that happened to be a success 😂 I did however use two bars of @lindtuk dark chocolate that I melted for the underneath and top. I used about 3 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter from @wholeearthfoods . A sprinkling of freeze dried raspberries from @lakelanduk . The silicone tray is very old so I’m not sure where I bought it from I’m afraid. • Next time, I think I would soften my peanut butter with a small amount of maple syrup, simply so that it would spread more easily. • They were simply delicious though 👌🏼 . I melted two bars of dark chocolate and added in some smashed up hazelnuts to add some healthiness and good texture. I then spread it out (thickly) over a baking sheet/paper and left it to partially set. Albie and I then decorated with Halloween inspired goodies. We had a packet of puff pastry about to go out of date in the fridge and a neighbour was giving away a load of their homegrown cooking apples so it had to be made. Megan Taylor Instagram - 🧧 CHINESE NEW YEAR 🧧 Happy Chinese new year everyone. I experienced my first proper Chinese new year today. Although it isn’t actually tomorrow but my dad is working tomorrow so we moved it a day early. There are so many traditions and every dish means something different. For example there’s one that means the money and the wallet where you put a mixed of chopped up veggies into a lettuce leaf which represents the wallet 🥬. On the actual day there wouldn’t be any meat because you mustn’t kill anything. I’m veggie and most of what we had was veggie anyway but the meat eating men in the family said the meat was incredible. I am not brave when the food isn’t Mediterranean but I loved everything!! Megan Taylor Instagram - To be completely honest, the beginning of new born life and the transition of one to two was HARD!!! The being post partum with number two was so much simpler and felt more of a breeze (with a baby that was more of a sleeper) BUT the transition for Albie was hard on him. His behaviour changed drastically. He was upset, angry, temperamental etc. After a couple of awful weeks we worked out it was him obviously going through a whole lot…starting nursery, his mummy being constantly sick with morning sickness, moving out of the only house he thought of as home, moving to my parents, moving into a new house, having a new baby brother and most importantly not having me to himself. Albie didn’t start nursery until 3 years old so had me most of the time to himself. We instigated more of me doing the bedtime routine and picking him up from nursery by myself and saying good morning without Oscar in my arms and these things have helped so much. The other day we had a call from the nursery manager simply to praise how incredible Albie is and I almost cried!!!! Something has clicked and things are now great 😊 …fully aware it may be crap next week but these past few weeks it has all been AMAZING 🥰 #postpartum #twochildren (The first two videos are not my own and are from campaigns Albie and I shot for John Lewis and Elvie)

The bare bones were sorted before moving in and now I’d like to say we are in the finessing stage but it’s actually the lived in stage where we’ve worked out what the next steps are. The next steps were most importantly…STORAGE!! As seen on my stories, that meant built in cabinets in the recessed areas either side of the fireplace. Next stage is ordering the floor to ceiling double larder cupboards (three of them) for the dining room. Megan Taylor Instagram - 🍞 BAKERY HUNTING 🧁 Actually managed to get out of the house before midday today…just ⏰ We walked to the bakery fifteen minutes before closing and snapped up the last of their vegan rolls, croissants and a loaf of bread…also one of their mince pies which I recon are the best 👌🏼 @thamesdittonbakery It was also operation try out the new buggy board ahead of the nursery run tomorrow. Luckily it was a complete hit 🎉. Using it with the bassinet isn’t the best design though and I have to walk to the side a little bit when Albie is sat on it, but the walk is short and will be a bit safer and easier for me than him using his scooter alongside the buggy. I will share some before and afters over the next week or so so that you can see the difference. This is the living room. Scroll to the last image to see how it looked before we moved in. They somehow made it look minuscule??? After an incredibly quick sale (5 days!!!) and a quick turn around (7 weeks!!!), we have officially exchanged and are actually moving 🏡. However, I won’t believe it until we have the keys 🔑 😂 Our plan has always been to move back to Thames Ditton. It’s where I grew up. I lived there for 32 years!!! It’s a real “do-er upper” so I hope you are ready to follow along for the reno journey. YES, we are moving a month before baby is due and YES we do have 2-3 weeks of work to do on it before we move in and YES we are moving in to my parents house and YES I pray everything goes smoothly and baby doesn’t arrive too early 😆. Megan Taylor Instagram - We visited Stoke Park with Liam’s family today and it reminded me of the 80s. So cute 🥰 Albie had the best time ever!!! The water is the splash pool was COLD but lovely and refreshing. We arrived at about 11:30 and it was busy but ok. By the time we were leaving at about 2 it was raaaaammmmmboed!! I’m barely any different today than I was a couple of days ago. I may have grown an extra grey hair but meh, who knows? My dye wouldn’t let you know anyway 😂. Having spent the last TWENTY YEARS working as a model and an actress I have lied about my age on the daily! Just the way it goes. I have actually forgotten how old I am before and had to work out my real age! Anyway, it just made me think, age isn’t really a thing that means all that much past the significant legal ages. I personally feel 27. That is until I hang out with a 27 year old and I realise I’m definitely NOT 27 anymore 😂. Megan Taylor Instagram - Go on Lionesses ⚽️ Had to share this behind the scenes from a commercial I shot for Lenovo. In the audition I had to do a bicycle kick. Despite playing football for my school from a young age I had never done anything special, trick-wise. I went to the casting in between a fitting job in Battersea. I travelled to London Bridge and back back in quite the sweat but the casting director wasn’t there yet. I had to leave to get back to work!! They were running the casting until 6 so I decided I would go back again after work. I wasn’t sure whether to bother because I didn’t think I could even do a bicycle kick 😂. That being said, I thought…there can’t be too many london actresses that have played football before!!?? Anyway…luckily they were grateful I came back and I nailed the kick every-time 😂. Megan Taylor Instagram - We’ve had such a lovely Friday afternoon off work. We drove to pick mum up and whisked her off to visit @d.oyly.s for a crepe 🥞. It was such a lovely place to visit. You can take dogs too! Albie and I had TWO ‘Buena Sarah’s’ which is the chocolate praline crepe. It was my favourite chocolate pancake I have EVER eaten in my whole life- seriously!! There were chunks of @kinderbueno_official in it!!!!!!! 👌🏼 (my picture of it is not representative of how fab it was 😂 Originally we couldn’t find a table because it was so busy so we sat on the deck (with a couple of deckchairs) with Albie’s toys spread out on the floor. When we got a table we actually let someone else have it because sitting around by the river edge was perfect. I have to say it felt a little bit anxious making with Albie by the river but where we were it wasn’t deep so it would have been fine if he had decided to jump in 😂. Megan Taylor Instagram - QUICK AND EASY TORTILLAS (Makes 8) 1.5 cups of flour 0.5 teaspoon baking powder 0.5 teaspoon ground salt 1/5 cup of olive oil 0.5 cup of warm water Mix together the flour, salt and baking powder then add the oil and water whilst stirring (I used my kitchen aid). Mix it together until you don’t see any oil or lumps. Cut into 8 even-ish sections. Roll into a balls and then flatten each one with your hand. Cover lightly in flour and lay to rest for about 20 minutes with a tea towel over the top. Roll the balls super thin and then put in a very hot pan. Leave on its first side for about 1 minute (it takes about this time to see some bubbles appear), then flip with a spatula and leave on the other side for about 20 seconds. Keep checking that it’s not burning and turn the heat down a little after cooking a few because your pan will be increasingly hot. Although it isn’t actually tomorrow but my dad is working tomorrow so we moved it a day early. There are so many traditions and every dish means something different. Caption : 🧧 CHINESE NEW YEAR 🧧 Happy Chinese new year everyone. I experienced my first proper Chinese new year today. Although it isn’t actually tomorrow but my dad is working tomorrow so we moved it a day early. There are so many traditions and every dish means something different. The being post partum with number two was so much simpler and felt more of a breeze (with a baby that was more of a sleeper) BUT the transition for Albie was hard on him. His behaviour changed drastically. He was upset, angry, temperamental etc. After a couple of awful weeks we worked out it was him obviously going through a whole lot…starting nursery, his mummy being constantly sick with morning sickness, moving out of the only house he thought of as home, moving to my parents, moving into a new house, having a new baby brother and most importantly not having me to himself. Albie didn’t start nursery until 3 years old so had me most of the time to himself. We instigated more of me doing the bedtime routine and picking him up from nursery by myself and saying good morning without Oscar in my arms and these things have helped so much. The other day we had a call from the nursery manager simply to praise how incredible Albie is and I almost cried!!!! Something has clicked and things are now great 😊 …fully aware it may be crap next week but these past few weeks it has all been AMAZING 🥰 #postpartum #twochildren (The first two videos are not my own and are from campaigns Albie and I shot for John Lewis and Elvie)

Caption : We’re going home 🏡 I am so excited to say we are moving back to Thames Ditton!!! …next week 🤯 I am so proud of everything we have done to this house and have improved it so much. I will share some before and afters over the next week or so so that you can see the difference. This is the living room. Scroll to the last image to see how it looked before we moved in. They somehow made it look minuscule??? After an incredibly quick sale (5 days!!!) and a quick turn around (7 weeks!!!), we have officially exchanged and are actually moving 🏡. However, I won’t believe it until we have the keys 🔑 😂 Our plan has always been to move back to Thames Ditton. It’s where I grew up. I lived there for 32 years!!! You can take dogs too! Albie and I had TWO ‘Buena Sarah’s’ which is the chocolate praline crepe. It was my favourite chocolate pancake I have EVER eaten in my whole life- seriously!! Mix it together until you don’t see any oil or lumps. Cut into 8 even-ish sections. Roll into a balls and then flatten each one with your hand. Cover lightly in flour and lay to rest for about 20 minutes with a tea towel over the top. Roll the balls super thin and then put in a very hot pan. Leave on its first side for about 1 minute (it takes about this time to see some bubbles appear), then flip with a spatula and leave on the other side for about 20 seconds. Keep checking that it’s not burning and turn the heat down a little after cooking a few because your pan will be increasingly hot.
