A weekend of packing and I am absolutely exhaussssssted 😩 We have run out of boxes but still have a bit too pack 😬. Even if we had more boxes there’s actually nowhere to put them 😆. Feeling a mixture of giddy excitement and pure terror at how upside down our life now is 😂. Praying that everything is going to go to plan. Pray that contractors turn up. Praying that we stay on budget. We’re going home 🏡 I am so excited to say we are moving back to Thames Ditton!!! …next week 🤯 I am so proud of everything we have done to this house and have improved it so much. I will share some before and afters over the next week or so so that you can see the difference. This is the living room. Scroll to the last image to see how it looked before we moved in. They somehow made it look minuscule??? After an incredibly quick sale (5 days!!!) and a quick turn around (7 weeks!!!), we have officially exchanged and are actually moving 🏡. However, I won’t believe it until we have the keys 🔑 😂 Our plan has always been to move back to Thames Ditton. It’s where I grew up. I lived there for 32 years!!! It’s a real “do-er upper” so I hope you are ready to follow along for the reno journey. YES, we are moving a month before baby is due and YES we do have 2-3 weeks of work to do on it before we move in and YES we are moving in to my parents house and YES I pray everything goes smoothly and baby doesn’t arrive too early 😆. Am I crazy? YES! We visited Stoke Park with Liam’s family today and it reminded me of the 80s. So cute 🥰 Albie had the best time ever!!! The water is the splash pool was COLD but lovely and refreshing. We arrived at about 11:30 and it was busy but ok. By the time we were leaving at about 2 it was raaaaammmmmboed!! Me in my birthday presents from Liam 😆 Just had a 🤯 moment thinking, yesterday I was a different age today. Like, age really doesn’t mean a thing does it. I’m barely any different today than I was a couple of days ago. I may have grown an extra grey hair but meh, who knows? My dye wouldn’t let you know anyway 😂. Having spent the last TWENTY YEARS working as a model and an actress I have lied about my age on the daily! Just the way it goes. I have actually forgotten how old I am before and had to work out my real age! Anyway, it just made me think, age isn’t really a thing that means all that much past the significant legal ages. I personally feel 27. That is until I hang out with a 27 year old and I realise I’m definitely NOT 27 anymore 😂. It’s basically a stack of biscuits. I used nine biscuits. Then a cream, sour cream, honey, vanilla icing. I added the zest of lemon and lime to the icing which made it much nicer for me as someone that doesn’t really love cream.
