What on earth is a ‘moonshot’? Most of my working life has been about little victories in the gender equality space, baby steps towards that elusive goal of young men and women starting out as equals and remaining as equals wherever they choose to be in life. On the fringes of Davos last year (where all the real stuff happens) an exciting new gathering took place with the audacious goal of #equalitymoonshot – reaching for that almost insurmountable goal by taking a giant leap underpinned by a different way of thinking. It was a phenomenal big thinking day and this year is no different. #WorldWomanDavosAgenda2024 is the brainchild of @thedashshot (Rupa Dash) supported by #socialentrepreneur #zuzannalewandowska #equalitymoonshot tackles the significant challenges facing women and girls in the world today; ‘soaring living costs, an escalating climate emergency, and widespread conflict and displacement’. It also looks to the future and the societal changes that need to happen for gender harmony.  It’s brave, bold and disruptive but #worldwomandavos has some significant world leader collaborators including powerful male allies.
