I lost both my grandparents, 3 days apart, a couple weeks ago. One was somewhat “expected” (what a weird thing to even type) and one was not. I am not a stranger to death knocking on my door, nor am I wildly familiar with it. I am not afraid of death in any way, I know it’s such a natural part of life, and I find their almost joint passing wildly and beautifully poetic. Death always reminds me of some things and inspires me, so I thought I’d share. Swipe through the slides for more details and stories behind them, but here are the bullet points: 1. Be Kind 2. Be Compassionate (a big, heartfelt thank you to @staplescanada) 3. The Tendency To Judge 4. Forgive 5. Drama Addiction 6. The Way You Treat Yourself Is The Way You Treat Others 7. Surrender 8. Life Is Short 9. A picture of my Grandparents I’m so grateful for both my grandparents. They taught me so much. They had a big hand in my upbringing. They both worked so hard, sacrificed a lot for my family, and both had such incredible wisdom and life stories. They brought so much love into my life. I started writing a list of everything they taught me, introduced me to, and changed in me, but the list is too long and to choose only a few things doesn’t do them justice. So I’ll hold on to those things in my heart, for me. I’m also so grateful and not in the least bit surprised that their passing has taught me even more about myself – about the person I am and the person I want to be. I am so grateful for this recalibration and remembrance that’s happening quietly inside me. Until we meet again, Baba i Deda. Hvala za sve.❤️🌟🙏🏻

Hello everyone! I’m so happy to finally announce a project that is so dear to my heart: the Gratitude & Growth Podcast. Most of you probably know me as an actor, but what you may not know is I’ve been on the most transformative journey the last few years of my life. On this podcast, I’ll open up about the experiences I’ve had and tools I’ve acquired to finally step into a life that is built upon peace, happiness, and joy. How exploring, nurturing, honoring and exercising my mind, body, and soul allowed me to let go of the things that no longer served me, cultivate awareness about the choices I’m making, and give myself permission to become the person I’ve always wanted to be. This podcast has been a dream for almost a year and the fact that I’m launching it in the next few days fills my heart with such immense joy. I can’t wait to share with you my journey, my discoveries, and how these two concepts – Gratitude & Growth – have changed my life. You’ll be able to find all the links in the bio of @gratitudegrowthpodcast in just a few days. Stay tuned — Episode 1 coming at you SOON! 🥳 Much love and appreciation, Sara 🌟 📸: @ashleyrossstudios

Happy to announce that DEN MOTHER CRIMSON, a wicked feature I had the pleasure of being a part of, will have a special premiere screening on March 3rd at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival 🥳🌟🎬🍿 “Three experts are brought together to consult. As the nature of their task is revealed, they must grapple with the moral implications and the outcome it may have on the world.” Link to Event Screening tickets at @kingcanfilmfest🎥 “Drawing on our contemporary fears of Artificial Intelligence, Den Mother Crimson takes us on a serpentine, emotional ride, brought to life by the gripping performances of our talented all-Canadian ensemble.” Grateful to have met and worked with some wonderful and immensely talented people on this one 🙏🏻💖🌟 @daniel.kash.3 @enukaokumaofficial @mrsaadsiddiqui @esthervlessing @denmothercrimson @wearebrandedtofilm

I decided to drive from Toronto to L.A. with my partner in crime (Tilly) and our trusty new sidekick Calvin the Cactus. From hiking forests in Kentucky to climbing rock mountains in Sedona — what a beautiful adventure. Swipe through to see some of my favourite snapshots ☺️ (For his own safety, Calvin did not join us on the hikes). 🌟🙏🏻💖
