I really should be working on my new book. But….

So today I glanced up while in my favorite garden spot where I sit DAILY and saw this. Grateful for snakes but yikes. Also, a good reminder to look up once in awhile. 🐍❤️

Some of you might remember way back when I had a blog on Livejournal. I did it for years, first a few times a week, then only on Fridays. I stopped for various reasons, but mostly because I was on Twitter all the time. Then I screwed up ROYALLY on that platform—almost four years ago, but who’s counting—and gave up all social media to reset and be better. This summer, though, I decided to start up again over on Substack, and it’s been so fun. Every week, I throw this thing out there. I probably repeat myself and there are way too many miniatures.
