It’s come to my attention (thanks, Betsy!) that someone is impersonating me on X/Twitter with my old username @sarahdessen. Just FYI, that’s NOT me: I deleted my account years ago. This is my only social media these days and I am barely on it because my anxiety has been bad lately and, well, for whatever reason Instagram makes it worse. (Just me?) Hoping you all are having a great summer. I’m just writing and riding the waves, all kinds. This is a zinnia I grew from seed in my greenhouse, transplanted outside and then watered religiously. And now it is blooming! Patience, folks. It’s everything. 🙌🏻💕🌊😘

Summer is here so of course I had to make deviled eggs. Spent the last couple of months digging in the dirt and planting: now, I get the payoff! Wishing you all days of hummingbirds, nights full of fireflies and good things, always. ❤️🙌🏻🌸🌿
