Sometimes we can get too caught in our heads, in a pursuit to gather knowledge. Innovation is different. It requires knowledge as a basis certainly and then it requires to go beyond knowledge. To get creative and courageous. You o innovate is to understand the problem, reflect, experiment, prototype fail and learn.. all the things we are taught to avoid in life.. here’s to #innovation – the key to a better future! #forcesforchange

Women’s Engineering Society *Note: eSTEAMd Women was the 3rd in a series of podcasts for women in STEM. The first podcast series, entitled « Scilence », was followed by a second series two years later, entitled « Innervation ». Scilence was audio-only, launched on International Women in Engineering Day (June 23 2018). All Scilence guests were kept anonymous to encourage raw, honest and open conversations. Scilence evolved into Innervation, as a vodcast series (I.e to include video, with all guests requesting to be fully identified). In July 2021, eSTEAMd Women was launched as a vodcast series to also include women in art-related STEM professions. Gathered together were #empoweredwomen looking to make a difference in their own unique ways at the #bazaarsummit ! Yesterday I was honoured to be part of a panel discussing the #future of #ai! It’s such a hot topic at the moment and we are all at different stages of our understanding of the #technology. That’s ok! It’s up to us as individuals to do our own research on subjects we are passionate about. And seeing as #ai is very much part of our present and our future, I’d say it’s a great use of your time to get familiar with it, so that you’re not left in the dark and can maybe even become part of this growing industry – no matter what your background! Did you know #chatbots, #Siri online shopping recommendations and #autonomousvehicles are all driven by AI?!? A big shout out to @mcchappet for her vision for this panel and to the experts in our debate #verityharding and @mayhabib @bazaaruk
