Ashley Walters Instagram – The foundational UK artist and gifted actor Ashley Walters, aka Asher D, perhaps best known as the man behind Dushane, in the Netflix smash Top Boy, invited me to his house in Kent to – yes – lift some weights in his gym but more importantly to talk about his life and career. He treated me to several hours of in-depth and thoughtful conversation about growing up in Peckham, So Solid Crew, catching a gun charge and doing time in prison, Hollywood films, family life, social anxiety and much much more.
