Fabrice Calmels Instagram – Lar Lubovitch’s production of ‘Othello’ was one of the most demanding ballet I have danced. The intricate partnering and untraditional shapes were challenging. The hard work lay in making these partnering shapes look good through smooth transitions.
In this scene, Iago begins to poison Othello’s mind, making him believe that Desdemona is having an affair with Cassio. Initially, Othello can not fathom Desdemona behaving in such a manner. However, Iago’s insinuations slowly seep into Othello’s imagination, leading him to consider the possibility as true.
