The Creakers is a story I wrote a while ago and I’m so excited to share this brand-new edition with its awesome new cover, green edges AND there’s something very cool inside too! You can now scan QR codes inside the book to listen to the soundtrack of original SONGS I have written and recorded for The Creakers as you read (which are now on all streaming platforms 🎉). It’s such a fun reading experience and I’m so pleased we’ve been able to update the book so you can listen to the soundtrack easily. I had such an awesome time at the @ladybirdbooks & @puffinbooksuk Picture book Showcase this morning. I had a difficult and gruelling q&a session, being grilled by @mrsgifletcher 😜 and got to hear from some of my fellow authors and see their incredible work.
It was so inspiring hearing about their books and I sat there feeling so lucky to be part of this wonderful world of children’s publishing.
Congratulations to @lanishanicole @laurahallain @kimhillyard @chatterton1 @lydiabright @rachelmorrisroeauthor @kelechnekoff and all the authors and illustrators with beautiful children’s books being published this year. Thanks to @annamathur for being a brilliant host for the event too.
