Our wonderful boy is 10 years old today. It feels like the moment he was born someone put our lives on X1.5 speed and suddenly here we are celebrating a whole decade with this incredible person in our lives. I could use all the best words I know but they wouldn’t even come close to describing how awesomely special this little dude is. Happy double digits kiddo. 🎂🎉
Today we had to say goodbye to a beautiful member of our family, our cat Leia…or to use her full title – Princess Leia. I feel so lucky that we got to be the humans that shared almost 17 years of our lives with her. Not only was she an awesome companion for us, helping to teach our kids about how to be compassionate and caring with animals, she also gave blood a number of times to save other cats lives. What a hero! Thanks for all the cuddles Leia, I’ll miss you on the pillow. X

World Book Day prep. Totally awesome and surreal making a costume of one of my own book characters for my son (at his request, of course!).
