Vitor Belfort Instagram – Ao contrário do que muitos possam pensar, a mansidão não é uma fraqueza. Tanto no Salmo 37 quanto nas bem-aventuranças, mansidão é humildade e submissão a Deus. Novamente, com o Salmo 37 em vista, os ímpios buscam ganhos a todo custo. O verso 14 diz que eles “arrancam da espada e distendem o arco para abater o pobre e necessitado”, e embora ganhem coisas que irão trazer um prazer momentâneo, somente os mansos, aqueles que se deleitam no Senhor (v.4), herdarão a terra. Contrary to what many may think, meekness is not a weakness. In both Psalm 37 and the Beatitudes, meekness is humility and submission to God. Again, with Psalm 37 in view, the wicked seek gain at all costs.
