A week ago (yes yes I’m Miss latergram) I attended the premiere of Rain Town the movie. I was very excited because I have heard and seen some amazing things about this film. It certainly didn’t dissapoint. I love so many things about this film. A film about love, family, life, and struggles.And there’s not a performance I didn’t like. @chewkinwah always on point @susan_lankester I didn’t know you can speak Cantonese that well. And I’ve never seen you like this before. This took me a while. My 2023 is filled with wonderful adventures. But no wonderful adventures are complete without laughter and tears, things that goes right and things that goes wrong, and people who walks in and out of our lives. I would like to begin 2024 with gratitude. To more wonderful adventures. And may this new year be my (and your) best year yet. I’m claiming it. To wake up everyday knowing that there are people in this world who is going through a genocide, and seemingly, the whole world is letting it happen, is something that I’m not used to, and we should never get used to. The pain and loss is unfathomable. I continue a call for a ceasefire. We are never really at peace if these injustice is allowed to continue. As we work on our goals, focusing on our lives, please include them in your prayers.
