The google definition of stuck in a rut made me laugh, “In a settled or established habit or course of action, especially a boring one.”
Does that ever feel like marriage in these winter months? Because Judah’s and my personalities are so opposite it seems like we are always pulling for either more routine or more adventure (you can guess who is pulling which way!!).
But I have to admit -even though i love my routines mixing things up and bringing some adventure helps keep us from a boring rut. Adventure doesn’t have to be exotic-trying a new board game or cooking a new recipe, driving to a new spot on an afternoon drive or dancing or even reading a book together could all keep us from a boring rut.
