Happy 10th anniversary to #PitchPerfect! I know some of you think that I’m in the first movie too (not just 2 & 3). And that’s partly because I photoshop myself into pics (like this one) but mostly because I tell everyone I was. The truth is when Pitch Perfect came out in 2012, I was still waiting tables and hustling hard. I remember taking myself to the movies (AMC in the Burbank Town Center to be exact), but not before stopping at PF Changs (where I once worked) to eat some crab wontons (cause I still got 25% off). I laughed and cried watching these hilarious and talented girls “crush it” on the big screen, hoping to one day be in a movie like THAT! I was inspired and filled with joy. These movies, especially this first one, mean so much to so many. I know this because I’m one of the many! Congrats to everyone who made this iconic film @kaykaycannon @jasontmoore @elizabethbanks @maxhandelman @salvadorperezcostumes @dekesharon the Bellas & Treblemakers, and so many more! Thank you for inspiring this future Bella, who now wants some crab wontons 💙

Last week we surprised my best friend for her birthday, which is actually today (she was VERY surprised). There is no one like my Shaks, beautiful on the inside and out. I am so lucky to have this ever-growing and insanely loving friendship. Happy birthday to the bestie that always makes me want to be my best self. I love you and cherish you always and forever 🫶🏽
