Ellie Holcomb Instagram – It is a true gift when you have a sister who is also your friend, and I’ve now got lots of them (@sarahbann @trazodesign @kristiesholcomb and soon to be @instagracelyn !!) , but first and forever , @carlybannister is my answered prayer, gift from God, sister-friend. She started off as an answer to my 4-10yr old prayers for a sister . I LOVE my brothers , but I also kept asking God to also give me a sister , and while my parents were NOT planning on having a 5th kid , God was kind to all of us and gave us Carly. She has always been evidence of God’s goodness and joy to me , and I have missed her like crazy, so when we figured out we were gonna miss each other by 2 hours on flights through Vegas (neither of us with plans to go to the Super Bowl FYI, but GO sports!) , we obviously changed our flights to the earliest possible hour and spent the day together . It’s SO good to be with one of your best friends , especially when you have not been able to see each other b/c you now live on dif sides of the country . I say all of this to encourage you to make plans to see the ones you love if you can. I’ll hold our sunshine drenched hike in The Valley of Fire State Park and the car ride in my heart for a very long time . Love you, Carly.
