One thing I’ve realized for myself recently is that trust can be achieved with long term discipline and patience. I have always struggled with self-doubt and “not enoughness.” I think it’s partly because of the way I grew up and partly because there were simply not very many people who looked like me on screen. But I’ve learned that if you stay the course in whatever you want to do, if you pursue it, no matter how much or how little you continue to pursue it, then your hard work, patience, and discipline will compound on itself. Your efforts will eventually gain its own compound interest. Things will start flowing more easily and life will continue to give you the things you’ve been putting your energy in. “Trusting” the process can be difficult when trust does not come easy for you. So maybe a better way to look at it is to be disciplined in the process, stay patient throughout the process, and you’ll notice the gradual growth of your hard work and consistency. ❤️
