This evening I was invited back to my old secondary school to speak as their guest of honour at the 2023 awards evening!
Here I’m stood with one of my favourite teachers, who really brought me out of my shell whilst I was at school. Mrs Downing was one of my PE teachers, and selected me as Sports Woman of the Year in 2010 after years of representing the school in so many tournaments – I’ve since won Miss England but winning that award still ranks as a top tier memory for me 🤣
Massively grateful. Congratulations to the class of 2023! 📚
