Marcia Fudge Instagram – Volunteers nationwide have started the annual survey of the number of people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. HUD’s Point-in-Time (PIT) count is so critical because it helps influence our response to this crisis as best as we can. With the PIT count helping to guide us, HUD has dedicated a tremendous amount of our funding and resources to help get people off the streets and into homes.
