Our super last minute trip to Chengdu!
We eat almost every meal with chilli oil and we love it EXTRA spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ we’ve always drooled over all the YouTube videos on the Sichuan food in Chengdu and finally decided to go for the weekend. Needless to say it did not disappoint and we might have had the best Sichuan food of our lives so far😜

Our first Chengdu hotpot experience and it was very different! Very beefy and buttery because half of the pot was filled with beef fat, the beef slices we ordered was 36rmb and was great, n we also had freshly pounded 蝦滑 so you know what’s in it. We tried the baijiu named “歪嘴” and it did leave our faces crooked… not for the faint hearted! The bill was 240rmb and although it’s nothing like the traditional hk hotpot, it was a bargain and definitely a must try for mala lovers💓

You know the saying that says “there are no ugly women, only lazy ones”. Well, it gets extremely hard especially for working moms to juggle working, caretaking and planning the future for your kid(s).
It gives me so much power and confidence to dress up nicely and glam up, because to be honest, some days can be exhausting! And remember, just that we are trying to do multiple things the best we can, it doesn’t mean that we don’t deserve some self love too💓💓💓
