Vishakha Singh Instagram – I was recently invited as a panelist at the Woman Entrepreneurship panel at the prestigious Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies’s (NMIMS Global) Business Gala 2024.
Engaging with future leaders and entrepreneurs was truly inspiring. I had insightful discussions with fellow panelists Neha Shah and Sonali Singh and I must say, I learned a lot from their perspectives.
Connecting with the youth of our country always invigorates me. Their hunger for learning and inquisitiveness remind me of my college days. It’s humbling to be on this side now, reflecting not just on age but also on the journey traveled and the progress made.
However, amidst the celebration of entrepreneurship, it’s crucial to acknowledge the significant challenges faced by women in the startup ecosystem in India. Despite their talent and determination, women entrepreneurs often encounter obstacles such as limited access to funding, gender bias, and societal expectations.
