Caption : Happy March 1st!!! This is where I lived for 18 years when I first moved to Los Angeles. I moved into this house in 1995/96 maybe?! The owner bought it as a tear down and clearly never did… and it was in slightly better condition when I first moved into it but it didn’t have a heater or much anything else. I fixed it up and made it a place that was my home for a long time. I was driving by today and had the time to pull over and just look at it and really take in how far I’ve come from those days when I lived here, when I first moved to Los Angeles and how much I’ve grown into the person I am today. I had a dream and remembered what I wanted to create in my life and have never steered away from that. So for anyone who thinks they can’t do it I’m here to say YES you can. Caption : The Rule of 100… love this I always say it’s about consistency over a long period of time ~ the rule of 100 is if you spend 100 hours in a year that’s 18 minutes a day on any discipline karate, violin, piano, exercise ANYTHING that’s 18 minutes a day that’s 100 hours a year that at the end of the year you’ll be better than 95% of the rest of the world at that. My point isn’t to be better than others but better than you were the day before because with consistency you get better and you can use this rule for exercise too. Caption : And just like that…. This past Saturday, January 6th, an ordinary day turned into a moment of alarm for my family when my mother suffered a fall that resulted in a severe head injury. It was one of those heart-stopping incidents that remind us of how fragile life can be. She was rushed to the hospital, where the situation was so critical that she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). For five agonizing days, we lived in a state of uncertainty, each moment heavy with the possibility of the worst outcome. The fear that we could lose her was palpable. But amidst this turmoil, there’s a silver lining that I am overjoyed to share: my mother fought through those critical days and was released from the ICU a few days ago. It’s a journey we’re taking one day at a time, but the progress is promising. She is fully cognitive, and is still in the hospital. I’m immensely grateful. 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻 Her survival and recovery thus far feel nothing short of miraculous. After her fall, she underwent a brain angiogram — a procedure where dye is injected to visualize the blood vessels and seal up potential sources of bleeding. This was the first major step in her treatment. We remain hopeful as we await further updates about the blood in her brain, praying that she won’t require an additional procedure to drain it. I’d like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire medical team at Kaiser, especially the nurses and Dr. Kuo Chao, Neurointerventional Radiologist, for their exceptional care and tireless efforts in performing the brain angiogram. I’d also like to express my deepest appreciation to Dr. Grace Hu for her diligent care, compassion, and outstanding support for my mother. Without the dedication and expertise of the entire team at Kaiser, I don’t know where we’d be. I’m choosing to focus on the positives: she’s alive, she didn’t suffer any broken bones, she didn’t have a stroke, and her eyesight remains intact. These are the victories we hold onto, the small mercies that give us hope. Thank you for any and all well-wishes and support. ‼️♥️🙏🏻

Caption : Overcoming my fear of learning how to water ski versus not water skiing… what a lesson at facing the voices in your head and fear. I grew up in Las Vegas going to Lake Mead but I never really learned how to water ski. In total I’ve done it or have tried to maybe four times so I promised my self I’d do it every day while I was at the lake. As a fitness trainer, I’ve always loved being creative with my workouts, sculpting them into something that not only challenges the body but also nourishes the spirit. But beyond the gym, art has been my lifeline. During some of my darkest moments and trust me there were MANY – I found solace in writing, pouring my emotions onto the page and finding catharsis through storytelling. Acting became my escape, allowing me to step into different worlds and leave my world and my worries behind. Dance, too, played a vital role in my life, especially growing up in #LasVegas. It became a form of expression and liberation, a way to channel my emotions and find joy in movement. And then there are the countless DIY projects and art endeavors that have brought me so much joy and purpose. When I felt lost, art provided me with a lifeline, a way to express myself and find meaning in the midst of chaos. The process of creating, whether it’s through fitness, writing, acting, dance, or crafting, has been my sanctuary. It’s through these creative outlets that I’ve found healing, discovered my true self, and ultimately, saved my own life. This Xmas light extension project is just one example of how embracing creativity brings light and happiness into my life. I also did this stretch all the time on the Cadillac while I was pregnant it was one of my favorite stretches FULL VIDEO ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL ✈️✨ After a long flight, I’ve discovered the perfect Pilates-inspired routine to release tension and restore my body. Check out this exercise that works wonders for me! In this video, you’ll see me standing, using the railing on the patio as support to lengthen my spine. While holding on to the railing, I smoothly transition into a squat. This move helps to engage my lower body, release any tightness in lower back and boost circulation. I roll up through my spine one vertebrae at a time and then go into an upper back bend opening up my chest. I repeat this exercise three times. Then I drop down into a low squat which goes even deeper into the hips, lower back, spine, ankles, calf’s even getting my neck and shoulders to stretch, lengthen and open up. It’s a fantastic way to open up my chest and stretch out my entire body. I love how versatile Pilates can be, adapting to different environments! It’s an excellent way to reconnect with my body after a long journey. Give it a go and let me know how it feels! Remember to modify based on your own comfort level and always listen to your body. Caption : Here’s a quick three-move workout inspired from our book “Total Body Beautiful,” @totalbodybeautiful @andreaorbeck @mothersintolivingfit consisting of single leg deadlift, lateral lunge combined with a curtsy lunge, and mountain climbers: 1. Single Leg Deadlift: Stand on your left foot with your right foot slightly behind you. Hold a dumbbell or kettlebell in your right hand. Hinge forward from your hips, keeping your back straight and extending your right leg behind you until your torso and leg are parallel to the ground. Return to standing position and repeat for 10-12 reps on each leg. 2. Lateral Lunge Combined with a Curtsy Lunge: Start standing with your feet hip-width apart. Step your left foot to the left and lower into a lateral lunge, keeping your right leg straight. Push off your left foot to return to standing, then step your left foot behind your right foot and lower into a curtsy lunge. Push off your left foot to return to standing and repeat for 10-12 reps on each side. 3. Mountain Climbers: Start in a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your body in a straight line. Bring your right knee towards your chest, then quickly switch and bring your left knee towards your chest while extending your right leg back. Continue alternating knees as quickly as possible for 30-60 seconds. Perform each move back-to-back, resting for 30-60 seconds between rounds.
